FYI: Essential Oils style.
Essential oils are small compounds that come from plants and their parts when pressed or steamed.
They are so small that they can enter into our cells very easily. Chemical particles only coat a cell where oils can get straight inside. This is why some oils heal better than man made chemicals/drugs.
Essential oils are absorbed into the body three ways and I am just going to talk about the first way- aromatically.
As the oil enters the air, either through a diffuser, opening the bottle and smelling it and placing it on a cotton ball in your car vent or by your pillow, the oil mini droplets enter the air and then into your nose and on into your bloodstream and olfactory nervous system in your brain.
It can create feelings of peace, joy, happiness, alertness, awareness and many other feelings depending on what oil you use.
Some of my favorites are orange- you can put 6-10 drops in a diffuser or even place a few drops in your wrist. It’s sun shiny smell come shining it and make me feel happy!
Another favorite of mine is a blend of lavender and Frankincense. I put 4 drops lavender and 2 drops of Frankincense in a diffuser this past week in my toddler’s room while he slept and while normally is grumpy waking up, he’s woken up happier.
